Seen This Car? Woman Struck In Hit-Run, Carlisle Police Say

The search is on for the driver of a vehicle who fled after striking a woman in a crosswalk in Carlisle, police announced on Tuesday, March 12.

The woman was struck in the northbound crosswalk at West High and South West streets at 7:28 p.m. on March 9, the Carlisle police detailed in the release.  

"The striking vehicle initially stopped, but did not provide any information to the pedestrian," and then continued to drive off, the police said. 

The vehicle involved is described as a "2000's gray or darker-colored Hyundai, possibly Sonata;" and the driver is described as a "darker-skinned black female, with blonde dreads," the police stated in the release.
